Parent Letter 2021
Greetings!
We are so happy to have your child at camp this summer! The staff are arriving and we are gearing up for another great summer at Camp Emmaus. For everyone’s safety we have made some adjustments to our programming. We ask that you thoroughly read this letter to prepare for your child’s arrival at camp.
Drive-Thru Registration & Drive-Thru Pick-up
For everyone’s safety, this year we will be using a Drive-Thru Registration and Pick-up process.
- We’ll have outdoor stations that will be run by camp staff. There will be signs and people and instructing you where to go.
- Families are asked to stay in their vehicles. Campers can exit after completing the registration process.
- To help this process go smoothly we ask:
- Have all forms and medications ready and easily accessible. (Not packed away)
- We recommend you make payments prior to your arrival at camp using Camp Wise or calling our office. If you have any questions about your balance please contact our office. (218) 227-5107
- If you need to make a payment during registration we strongly encourage a check payment. (We are able to take Credit Card payments at camp but this will slow the process.)
- Registration times will be staggered by age groups. You will receive and email 16 days prior to your child’s arrival at camp with arrival times.
- Pick-up times will also be staggered by cabin group. At registration you will receive a card with your child’s cabin group and pick-up time. If you have multiple kids in different cabins they can be picked-up at the earliest designated time.
- Pick-up times will start at 11am. We ask that all family member remain in their vehicles. There will be signs and staff members directing you where to go.
Health Screening
We will be requiring every person attending camp (both children & adults) to do a 14-day Health Screening. We have included the form in this letter. As mentioned above you will receive an email 16 days prior to your child’s arrival. This email will serve as your reminder to begin the Health Screening. The form will be attached to this email (in case this form is misplaced.) This form will be the first collected during the Drive-Thru Registration process.
Cash Only Canteen
To help with the registration and pick-up process. This year we will only accept cash for Canteen. Please have this ready upon your arrival. Canteen will be open twice a day. There will be food items along with stickers, water bottles, key chains and shirts for tie-dye available.
Food items range $1-$3, Non-Food items range $5-$20
Our Camp Store will be online. More information to be announced soon via Facebook and here on our website.
Pre-Order Shirts for Tie-Dye
Order your Tie-Dye shirt online before June 6th. All orders will be shipped directly to you and you will bring it to camp ready to Tie-Dye! We will have a limited number of shirts available for purchase in the canteen for those who forget their shirts or weren’t able to purchase online.

Updated Information
Please make sure you log onto your Camp Wise account or call our office (218) 227-5107 and verify that all your contact information is correct (email, mailing address and phone number). It is especially important to verify that we have your correct email address as we will be communicating with you 16 days prior to your arrival at camp via email. We will also use your email to send updates during camp as well as a highlight video after camp is over.
We are so excited to share with our campers the theme – Through it All! We’ll be exploring how God’s love doesn’t have limits and endures through it all.
