Counselor

Openings: 15

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: One year removed from high school, must be 18 years of age or older.

Provide leadership and supervision for 6-10 campers in grades 2-12, and PreK-6 in a day camp setting. Counselors will be in charge of facilitating safety at all times, as well as bible studies, small group games, afternoon activities, worships and devotions, and leading canoe trips. Counselors will serve both on-site and off-site at day camps.

$400 per week

Assistant Program Director

Openings: 3

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of camp experience, two years of college, 21 years of age or older, and a valid driver's license.

Works in accordance with the Program Director, Summer Program Director, counselors, support staff and others in the implementation of daily activities and events each week. Each Assistant Program Director will lead and facilitate up to 3 Day Camp programs off-site throughout the summer. On-site duties may include worship planning and leading, games, arts & crafts set up and take down, bible study prep, and other necessary tasks.

$400 per week

Health Care Coordinator

Openings: 1

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: Former experiences/certifications along with advanced First Aid/CPR and medication administration training, one year of camp experience, two years of college, 21 years of age or older, and a valid driver’s license.

Directly in charge of the health care station including the administration of basic first aid along with the distribution of daily medications to staff and campers, maintaining health forms for campers and staff, and managing food and environmental allergies. After primary duties are fulfilled, they are also tasked with assisting in various activities alongside other leadership staff.

$400 per week

Summer Program Director

Requirements: Two years of camp experience (one year in a leadership role), 21 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years of camp experience at Pathways (one year in a leadership role), two years of college, 21 years of age or older, and a valid driver’s license.

Works accordingly with the Program Director, Day Camp Coordinator, APDs, and the kitchen and support staff to ensure that summer programming is run safely and smoothly at camp. Daily duties include conducting staff meetings, running canteen and camp store, and directly supervising the counseling staff. Also serves as a representative for Pathways to pastors, youth directors, parents, volunteers and guests. After primary duties are fulfilled, the Summer Program Director is to assist with various activities as needed.

$400 per week

Media & Technology Director

Openings: 1

Requirements: One year of camp experience, must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of camp experience at Pathways, two years of college, 21 years of age or older.

Responsible for taking pictures, filming, and uploading pictures for parent communications, creating end of the week videos, and working with the Program Director to create promotional content for social media and future use. Other responsibilities may include assisting with creative worship elements, helping run the canteen & camp store, and keeping inventory of arts & crafts supplies.

$400 per week

Day Camp Coordinator

Requirements: Two years of camp experience (one year in a leadership role), 21 years of age or older, and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years of camp experience at Pathways (one year in a leadership role), two years of college, 21 years of age or older, and a valid driver's license.

The Day Camp Coordinator works accordingly with the Program Director, Summer Program Director, Assistant Program Directors and Counselors to ensure the safe and smooth operation of day camp programming at host churches. Duties include leading an off-site congregational Day Camp each week, assisting with packing supplies for day camp, and conducting check-ins with day camp staff. This position will also help coordinate communication between host churches and camp leadership staff. After returning to Camp Emmaus when each day camp concludes, the Day Camp Coordinator will lead and facilitate on-site Friday day camp programming, in conjunction with the Program Director and Summer Program Director. They also serve as a representative for Pathways to pastors, youth directors, parents and volunteers.

$400 per week

Camp Assistant

Openings: 3

Requirements: Minimum 4 weeks of commitment, must be 16 to 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications: 8 weeks of commitment, high school graduate, must be 16 to 18 years of age.

This position is designed to equip youth leaders with the tools to provide quality Christian programing to youth.
Participants will have multiple opportunities to work alongside Pathways counselors on and off site as co-counselors leading cabin groups, providing leadership at Day Camps at area churches as counselors, and assisting camp in kitchen and maintenance support roles, and other duties as assigned.

$300 per week

Assistant Cook

Openings: 2

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an industrial kitchen and serving up to 200 guests, must be 18 years of age or older.

Works directly with the head cook to assist in food preparation, serving and clean-up. After primary duties are fulfilled, they will also be present to help with games, worship, and other programming as needed.

$400 per week

Maintenance Assistant

Openings: 2

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the grounds of Camp Emmaus, mechanical and shop aptitude, woodworking experience, 21 years of age or older, and a valid driver’s license.
Works directly with the Facilities Director to help with grounds and facilities upkeep, and some small repairs. Upkeep includes taking care of garbage and recycle bins, as well as keeping the bathrooms and shower houses clean.

$375 per week
