Packing List

As you start to pack for your camp adventure we recommend labeling all of your child’s clothes/items with their first and last name.

In Camp Week Long Program – scale down for shorter programs.

  • Clothes suitable for warm days and cool nights. Check the weather for the week before you pack! (layers work best)
    • 4-5 T-Shirts
    • 1 Long Sleeve T-Shirt
    • 3 Pair of Shorts
    • 1 Pair of Pants
    • 1 Sweatshirt
    • Rain Jacket
  • Shoes (hiking or tennis shoes as well as shower sandals)
  • Sleeping bag, pillow, fitted sheet
  • Personal items (soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush, deodorant, bath towels, etc.)
  • Swim Suit & Beach Towel
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight
  • Chap stick and bug repellent
  • Bible
  • Paper and pencil or pen
  • Sunglasses or Hat
  • Camp Store and Canteen money
  • Camera (optional)
  • Postcards or stationery and stamps (optional)

 

Wet & Wildernes

  • Sleeping bag (preferably stuff sack) & small travel pillow
  • Sunscreen, & bug spray
  • Toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.
  • Bio-degradable is best.
  • Water bottle
  • Towels, including one for drying off after a river swim
  • A hat or cap to block the sun
  • Shoes (more than one pair). Shoes must be worn at all times, even when canoeing!  Strap on sandals dry quickly, so are best; canvas shoes are next best. Old tennis shoes will work. Have at least one pair of tennis shoes for the Challenge Course!
  • Swimsuit(s), you’ll wear it a lot! No bikinis or Speedos please
  • Long and short sleeve shirts
  • Long pants (not jeans) and shorts (2 pair each)
  • Several pair of socks and underwear
  • Jacket & rain gear.  Rain gear can be sturdy without being expensive.  Ponchos are difficult to move around in, and can be dangerous in the event of a capsize.  A full rain suit with pants and jacket is the best.

 

Hike, Peddle Paddle 

  • Sleeping bag (preferably stuff sack) & small travel pillow
  • Sunscreen, & bug spray
  • Toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.
  • Bio-degradable is best.
  • Water bottle
  • Towels, including one for drying off after a swim
  • A hat or cap to block the sun
  • Shoes:  1 Pair of hiking boots, 1 Pair of strap on sandals or canvas shoes for canoeing, 1 Pair of tennis shoes for biking
  • Swimsuit, no bikinis or Speedos please
  • Long and short sleeve shirts
  • Long pants (not jeans) and shorts (2 pair each)
    •  Try to stay away from cotton material as it doesn’t wick away moisture or dry quickly
  • Several pair of socks and underwear
  • Jacket & rain gear.  Rain gear can be sturdy without being expensive.  Ponchos are difficult to move around in, and can be dangerous in the event of a capsize.  A full rain suit with pants and jacket is the best.
  • Day Pack- for hiking and biking
  • Bicycle – Road ready and functioning. Please bring a helmet as well (This is optional as we will be renting bikes)
