Wet & Wildernes

  • Sleeping bag (preferably stuff sack) & small travel pillow
  • Sunscreen, & bug spray
  • Toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.
  • Bio-degradable is best.
  • Water bottle
  • Towels, including one for drying off after a river swim
  • A hat or cap to block the sun
  • Shoes (more than one pair). Shoes must be worn at all times, even when canoeing!  Strap on sandals dry quickly, so are best; canvas shoes are next best. Old tennis shoes will work. Have at least one pair of tennis shoes for the Challenge Course!
  • Swimsuit(s), you’ll wear it a lot! No bikinis or Speedos please
  • Long and short sleeve shirts
  • Long pants (not jeans) and shorts (2 pair each)
  • Several pair of socks and underwear
  • Jacket & rain gear.  Rain gear can be sturdy without being expensive.  Ponchos are difficult to move around in, and can be dangerous in the event of a capsize.  A full rain suit with pants and jacket is the best.

Please do not bring cell phones and fidget spinners.
